ATTENTION: As you must know after all their exhausting, unfunny, Is-that-Ed-Begley-Jr.-rife advertising, the Census is this year. Many of you have gotten your census forms already.

While claiming to create an accurate picture of the diversity of America's population, this year's census does not include any questions relating to resident's sexual orientation. This means that the number of LGBT individuals in the US can continue to be misrepresented, and important LGBT issues could be passed over or not considered based on absent statistics.

Queer The Census is looking to help. It is offering FREE STICKERS to place on your census envelope that request the census include a question on sexual orientation on future census forms, and provides a check box question for the resident to tell the census what his or her sexual orientation is.

This is not only for LGBT individuals! Straight friends, please voice your concern and request a (FREE) sticker. There is a "straight" option included on the sticker, just for you.
