The tweet-mill says that 80,000 twatterers unfollowed the biebs today after he dared take a pair of shears to his tawny locks. I gotta wonder if this move was a lame ploy to get the newspapers to forget about his enlightened thoughts on rape. Catch the damage below before some rabid fan goes all Selena on the poor kid, because, while scissors might beat the papers, a well-aimed rock will always beat scissors.

National Geographic has put up an amazing set of photographs of Vietnam's Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, one of the world's largest cave systems. The shot below is completely underground - a cavern with a jungle, clouds, and thousands of feet of open space.
Check this off as one of the places I'd love to see before I die.

"A wise woman — I think it was the Millionaire Matchmaker (or maybe it was my sister) — once said that men hide their insecurities behind facial hair. Well, that’s just one theory. Other men see beards as an outlet for creativity. Every few years, such men from around the world congregate and compete at the World Beard and Mustache Contest.”
