This might be interesting if I wasn't so gay.

I think this the first time in history that an afro and inclement weather have come together in harmony.

I really enjoy this cover. It's what Ringo's "Octopus Garden" wants to be and Pink Floyd's "Octopus" poorly imitates...from thirty years prior.

The longer I am in the law school, the more often I find myself longing for some mode of artistic expression. It is interesting to me that when my aunt (a practicing lawyer) attempted to warn me away from pursuing my J.D., she suggested that law would stifle and kill my artistic side. This, as of yet, has luckily not been true. However, law school is peopled with individuals significantly less...quirky than those I left in NY, which, combined with all the time law school devours, has led me to yearning, physically aching, absolutely lusting after the chance to do something creative. Though I am sure that a majority of you will scoff, one the main impetuses in me beginning this blog was to latch onto some kind inventiveness, even if it is not my own.

Anyway, here is a wonderful short story by the prolific Donald Barthelme. One of my favorites. A good break for those of you preparing for finals - as a short story, it shouldn't take you more than fifteen minutes to charge through.

From Kristie: A splendorific blog post about the writer's hatred of the term "alot", which she imagines as some sort of muppetesque he-beast. I think it looks sort of like a furry John McCain.

I might love this person and have to hunt down and smother them with unwanted affection.

OH MY GOD WHY IS THIS ME AND MY FRIENDS?

Every painting in the MoMA in about two minutes. Some of my favorite paintings are at the MoMA - I especially adore the Gino Severini work at 1:24.

Just another example of how all cats are ungrateful bastards.

I wrote an entire page of text ranting about these comments, and then, realizing I looked as crazy as Roseanne is, deleted them.

Here's the gist:

1. These are posts from Roseanne Arnold's blog.

2. Roseanne seems to think the most important issue regarding the Catholic Church abuse scandal is discussing the gender of the victims.

3. Her exclusive focus is arguing about the gender of the children being abused. I am repeating this so you can fully comprehend her argument. The entire focus of her two rants are on what gender the children are. The children being abused.

Roseanne Arnold is thoroughly insane and I would never let her near my children - certainly not the boys.

Never let anyone say that I don't give as hard a time to the liberal whack-jobs as I do the conservative ones.
