When I lived in NYC, I was often over-conscious of the truth illustrated by this picture: despite my comfort, two feet away was a five/six/three story drop. It's a bizarre existence.

Everything about this is fucking delicious...though I prefer my mac & cheese recipe.
Life hint: Have me make you macaroni & cheese. My m&c is EPIC.

I've heard music videos are now passe. I contend instead that a majority of people are simply too lazy to watch them anymore. Perhaps that laziness begets them being out-moded; I think it begets them be niche.
PS. Ugh at the lack of accents on a number of words above that require them.
PPS. Oh, and I never realized this song had a video. Impressive street animation alert:

Speaking of music that embodies the fall, and of Mr. Ray LaMontagne, and of songs coupling with the cold to make you feel like you may never find warmth or contentment or love again, I give you this masterpiece.

Below is a song I've loved for some time, and a song whose aura simply embodies autumn for me. I find as the temperature lowers and the weather turns truly cold, I become overly introspective (S.A.D., anyone?) and my immediate music taste becomes exponentially more folk.
Anyway, last week was a lot of Ray LaMontagne, Bright Eyes, Bob Dylan, Kings of Leon, Josh Ritter, State Radio. Argue the "folk-ness" of these artists at your leisure, but out of earshot, por favor.

If you can't tell, this October (and now November) has been all about Beatles covers. A gift from Eliza:
